Hey, It's Armin
and I love to create.

So here’s the thing,

I LOVE to build new (should be exciting) stuff and solving problems using the power of imagination and creativity. I was always like this since I remember.

On the other hand I always was into tech! now you can guess the rest.

Software engineering the collision of those two. where I can build, solve and the limit is the sky. I also am an art enthusiast. most probably If I wouldn’t become a software engineer, I would have been a music producer...

May 1998

A Creative Beginning

I was born in Yazd, Iran. From childhood, I loved creating-first through music. At 6, I started learning instruments, but instead of only practicing, I found myself composing little melodies and improvising. That urge to "make something new" has never left me.

2009

Creativity in Many Forms

I studied Mathematics and Physics at High School in Yazd. As I grew older, technology and gadgets became my new playground. While still at school, I sold my first website: I would take English HTML/CSS templates, flip them into RTL, adjust fonts, and make them Farsi-ready. That was my first real money earned from tech. Around the same time, I explored graphic design, creating posters, logos, and business cards.

2016

University Life & Early Career

I chose Computer Engineering at Yazd University for my bachelor's degree. During these years, I started freelancing as my first professional step in software engineering-building mobile applications and small projects for real clients, including notable projects for medical congresses and tourism festivals.

Teaching Assistant Role

From 2018-2020, I served as a Teaching Assistant at Yazd University, mentoring over 300 students across 4 semesters in "Design and Analysis of Algorithms" and over 100 students in "Advanced Programming" courses.

2019

Rahnema College Internship

I entered Rahnema College Bootcamp, one of the most prestigious programs in Iran (with national entrance exams). This was a turning point: not only did it shape my career path, but it also gave me friendships with brilliant engineers-many of whom remain close friends today.

First Frontend Role & Next.js

After the bootcamp, I landed my first frontend engineering job. At that time, Next.js was still a very early tool. I took a leap and used it for an e-commerce client project. The experiment worked-and Next.js became my go-to framework ever since.

2020

Mentor & Engineer at Rahnema College

About a year later, I returned to Rahnema College-but this time as a Software Engineer and mentor. It was surreal to stand on the other side, guiding students while building production systems myself.

First Remote Job Abroad + Master's in AI

That same year, I got my first fully remote job with an international company, working entirely in English. At the same time, I had earned Rank #50 in the national entrance exam and started my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Tehran.

Late 2020

COVID Era: Balancing Work and Study

When COVID hit, classes went online. Oddly enough, this gave me the chance to study full-time and work full-time in parallel. I completed all my Master's courses, gained deep knowledge in machine learning and models, and made invaluable connections. But when it came time for research and thesis, I realized pure academia wasn't my path. I loved the practical side more-so I decided to drop the Master's program and go all-in on industry.

2021

A Leap Abroad: Moving to Berlin

I received a job offer in Berlin and moved to Germany, marking the start of a brand-new chapter in Europe. I joined tridion benefits GmbH (Bendesk) as a Frontend Developer, working in a 14-member tech team. I led the migration from JavaScript to TypeScript, developed their component library using Storybook, and contributed to creating a modern digital solution for employee benefits management.

2022

A Hard Lesson

About a year and a half later, the company couldn't survive the recession, and our entire department was laid off. It was a tough moment-but also a chance to grow.

August 2022

Starting at TechMiners

Joining TechMiners in Berlin was a huge step. For 3+ years, I grew into a Senior Software Engineer role-driving the adoption of generative AI, shaping architecture, and building features that became core to the platform. It was a place where I stretched both my technical and leadership skills.

2024

Founding Nestor Code Crafters UG

After two years at TechMiners, I took another big leap. Together with one of my former colleagues, I founded Nestor Code Crafters UG in Berlin. The idea was simple but powerful: create a space where side projects could grow into full-fledged products, while I continued my full-time role. It gave me the flexibility and ownership I had always wanted.

Nestornotes.com

Our first product was Nestornotes.com-a tool born out of the desire to simplify and enhance note-taking and content automation. This project was the seed around which we built the company.

Late 2024

Vinoh iOS App

Just six months later, I launched Vinoh, an iOS application combining my passions for technology and wine culture. Vinoh started as a side project under Nestor Code Crafters but quickly grew into a polished product with its own community of users.

Today

Between TechMiners and Nestor Code Crafters, I live at the intersection of being an engineer, a founder, and a creator. On one side, I contribute to large-scale AI-driven solutions in Tech Due Diligence. On the other, I get to experiment, build, and launch my own products into the world. It's the best of both worlds-stability and exploration, discipline and creativity.
